The uniquely crafted Fuchsia lamp exemplifies Charles Lotton's facility with kinetic floral motifs — the "Multi Flora" design — along with unique combinations of glass layers and custom created pigmentation from the Master batch maker himself.

Charles Lotton managed to manipulate layers of molten glass into graceful flowers that seem to float as if frozen in time. And the colors — in this case the predominant Fuchsia and the incredible "moving" flowers that are pint, white with such depth and energy along with the psychedelic green heart-shaped leaves — are stunning.

Lotton's secrets also included unique understanding of the chemistry of glass batch making. The unique recipes he discovered, and the chemical reactions of various elements under extreme heat are now lost to history.
