Charles Lotton Pink Split Leaf Iridized Bowl (1995)
Charles Lotton's Pink and Iridized Split Lead Bowl from 1995 is a must have for any Lotton collector or decorator. Its soft speckled pink colors are feminine in appearance, but the silvery iridized leaves impart a message of steadfastness and strength. This is a perfect piece that exemplifies Lotton's Split Leaf motif, in an unusual color for the Master. The pink pigmentation is speckled throughout the vase, which has a light quality that catches fire when direct light illuminates it.
The bowl is of medium size, about 7 inches tall and 6 inches wide at it widest. It has a flared lip, which would make it a perfect vase for floral arrangements or a centerpiece for your table or bureau.
Don't miss out on this one... These Split Leaf variant bowls & vases are disappearing rapidly as the Master's works are acquired by connoisseurs and Lotton collectors worldwide. Alas, Charles Lotton, "the Tiffany of the 20th Century" passed away in 2021 and there will be no more of these made.
