Daniel Lotton Orchid Small Paperweight Vase (1996)

Daniel Lotton's charming Orchid Paperweight Vase from 1996 has fantastic colors and packs a powerful punch for an item that is relatively small. It has been a favorite of those who visit and notice it accenting our shop desk and shelves... it seems to enjoy moving positions.

The piece has a sort of raspberry and orange color kernel around which the clear crystal freezes the fantastic Orchid flowers. We find Cobalt, Mandarin Yellow, White, and Variegated Greens throughout the piece.

The colors used by the artist are remarkably bright and flawlessly executed. The Paperweight / Vase is about 4 1/2 inches high, 4 inches wide and weighs about 1 lb.
