Bradley & Hubbard Verdigris and Cream Slag Glass Pedestal Large Lamp (c. 1920)

Bradley & Hubbard Verdigris and Cream Slag Glass Pedestal Large Lamp (c. 1920)

SKU: RSB-000161

This beautiful Bradley & Hubbard Handel-Style Slag Glass Table Lamp is a gem for any collector or designer to work with. We purchased it in 1978 from an Alexandria, Virginia source and it has provided wonderful illumination in our Library for many years. The Verdigris coloring first caught our eye. The cream color slag glass shade provides maximum luminescence for the three 60 Watt light bulbs that fit are part of the upper Neo-classical Verdigris Pedestal. It still sits on our Library Table and has provided many hours of illumination for nighttime reading.

The lamp weighs about 40 lbs. and is about 20 inches tall. I has an ornate Verdigris finial that tops off the 5 perfect panels. It has modern wiring. We recommend purchasing this lamp for pick up only, and will deliver it within 100 miles of Washington, D.C. for free.

This piece of beauty will not be sale of a long time... we have seen many Bradley & Hubbard lighting fixtures over the years, but this find is unique and of a size and quality that compares with the best Handel pieces.
