Remember your grandparents' Fenton Jadeite tableware? This Vintage Fenton large Jadeite (green) Footed Fruit Bowl was produced by the Fenton Glass facilities in West Virginia during the 1920's - 1930's ... While Fenton tried to revive the Jadeite color in the early 1980's, they could not successfully produce pieces of the earlier quality, so they stopped. Later Jadeite Fenton is marked, this piece is not. It's sticker was washed away many years ago...
The bowl features a large opening top with collared rim. It flares out on rim's outer edge then tapers to a circular, footed base. The bowl is in excellent condition with no cracks/chips. Light surface wear to minimal. Measures 10.25" X 5.5" X 9.25" opening. It weighs about 2 1/2 lbs.
